I’ve been playing video video game since about 1983. I go back to Pong as well as Pac Man and L.A. Swat for the C-64. I have never found a game title that’s more sinister, more devious, or more entertaining than this particular game in which you throws throws birds towards green, diseased- and demented-looking pigs in order to keep them from robbing and feeding on your eggs.
This online game itself is published by a company known as Rovio. Rovio is actually a mobile games publisher launched in the year 2003. Angry Birds, launched in 2010, has now reached the point where it’s been downloaded over 30,000,000 times and, according to an article posted on CNN’s web site, will soon be making more than US $1M monthly from just advertising revenue on the Android platform. This doesn’t count anything it gets from it’s sales of plush Angry Birds from it’s web page or any cash made from Apple’s various devices. If that doesn’t tell anyone of exactly how hot the game is, well, I’m not certain that anything may.
The overall game itself begins innocently enough: You have a 2-3 red birds that appear quite furious because a team of green pigs has just stolen your eggs. They’ve set up in a protective position and your job will be to launch your birds from a pre-built catapult straight directly into the pigs’ structure and kill each of the pigs. The red-colored birds themselves haven't any special powers, so you just aim, launch, and wish. As you move on through level after level, you unlock new birds with various abilities along with new different kinds of pigs ( I really like the Hitler pig!). The difficulty of each and every level slowly but surely heightens right up until you glance up and realize you’ve been on the same blasted level for 87 min's and your friends and family can’t determine the reason why your face appears like you’re having a heart attack!
After 3 weeks of actively playing the game, I have every bird type revealed, I’ve played through almost certainly 120+ levels, even down loaded Angry Birds Seasons (to be reviewed later).
